ABOUT:

 

My name is Caity Heap and I am so excited to be back in Gibson City.  I grew up on a farm just outside of Elliott and graduated in 2005.  I then attended Illinois State University and majored in Special Education and gained my Early Childhood endorsement.  I taught 2 years at Villa Grove and 2 years at PBL.  This is my 7th year in the ECE program and I can't wait to get started.

 

My sister, Lauren, is a PhD student at the University of Wisconsin.  My twin brother Mitchell is married to Ava.  Mitchell farms with my parents and Ava is a stay-at-home-mommy!  Arden, my nephew, will be 3 in March and loves playing at Aunt Caity's classroom.  Marie my 6 month old niece is a smiley little love.  My parents, Gene and Lisa, live outside of Dewey and farm.

 

In my free time I enjoy reading, being outside, riding horses, farming or being on the farm, and watching sports.
